We are South Carolina’s first organic distillery! We take pride in our organic methods and earth-friendly practices, giving back to our community, and of course, our top-notch quality liquor! Consumers, bars, and restaurants across the state have recognized the drinkability and monetary potential in our products, and now carry them in their bars.

Don't let the word “Ultra Premium” scare you––we price our spirits for everyone. If you like our liquor, you should be able to afford our liquor! Each one of our products must have three characteristics:
- Delightfully subtle flavors: When you overpower a spirit with too much flavor, it forces you as the consumer to choose from a limited number of cocktail options to play with. To allow consumers more versatility, we make our liquor with subtle (yet complex) flavors, such as hints of citrus and not being hit with an “orange bomb” (no offense to orange lovers :) ). This allows you to make a variety of cocktails with our spirits so when you buy a bottle you are not forced into one drink. We pride ourselves on the fact that our gin goes just as well in a mojito as it does in a martini or on the rocks.
- Complexity: So many spirits only have one or two flavors; however, spirits have every opportunity to be just as interesting as a fine wine. In the case of our gin, it has a citrus nose, a spicy complex body, a soft cinnamon finish, and an ever-present but subtle shadow of juniper. Our 2019 1st place martini was called a “spice cabinet of flavor” by International Spirits Review.
- Smoothness: Some spirits are as smooth as a gravel driveway. We have taken special care in ensuring that all of our products are exceptionally smooth. We feel that aside from enjoying a cocktail, our customers should be able to enjoy our spirits neat, and therefore, it is our responsibility to ensure that they are as smooth as possible.
We currently carry two main product lines along with seasonal spirits. The first is our botanical gin: a soft citrus nose, a spice-filled body, a soft cinnamon finish, and an ever-present but subtle shadow of juniper. We developed this product with the intent of pulling back the juniper flavor (the piney flavor in gin) and allowing all of the other flavors to shine. The second product is a botanical vodka called Botanica: a subtle cucumber and cardamon nose with hints of orange and ginger in the body. Our seasonal product line also includes an apple and cinnamon-infused gin called Everything Nice: hints of cinnamon and apples on the nose and within the body, while the gin flavors dance ever so slightly throughout.
We are raising $150,000, paid at a 10.25% interest rate with a six-month interest-only period and a 54-month fully-amortizing period.

Our organic vodka!
We have found a historic 1950's Gulf Service Station, with cathedral ceilings and beautiful exposed timber beams, in the heart of the bustling town of Park Circle in North Charleston, SC. Park Circle is our home. It's where we work, live, and play, and it's where we've always dreamed of putting down the roots of Nippitaty Distillery.
Our current warehouse is not only too small but off the beaten path. The new space is down the street from many popular restaurants, breweries, large outdoor and indoor event venues, and is embraced by a thriving and fun-loving local community. Our new hopeful home would allow us to increase our capacity of 15 to 40 customers at a time. Yup, this means more hand-crafted cocktails for all!
Additionally, we could increase our weekly tasting room hours from the current one day to four or even five days a week. With the potential increase in revenue these changes could afford, we could finally develop our sales team and accrue funds for additional state licenses, spreading bottle distribution and Nippitaty into more and more states across the country.
The minimum goal of $30,000 of our campaign will allow us to make this evolution and bring Nippitaty to our neighborhood of Park Circle in North Charleston, SC. Ideally, we would put $50,000 into our new location to make it a true upscale tasting room with handcrafted spirits and cocktails. The next $50,000 will allow us to consolidate our debt, so we can pay YOU – our investors' – money back as soon as possible and give you that ROI. Finally, our last goal would allow us to bring on Brand Ambassadors (sales reps). The money would go towards hiring and placing a Brand Ambassador in the field and in new, emerging markets. Achieving these three points of focus combined would allow us to spread our brand throughout the Southeast and reduce the amount of time it takes to pay you back for your generous investment.

We require construction and upfit! We’ve been told that it might only take 45 days to complete, but to play it safe and allow for natural ebbs and flows of construction, we are setting a 60-day goal from start to finish. Since our start date can only begin after a successful campaign, we are anticipating our Grand Opening to be sometime in the Spring of 2021.
Most of the manual labor will be done by Traxler, and our distiller and righthand man, Ethan. However, there are a few major areas that are outside of their skill set. Additionally, Traxler is NOT ALLOWED TO DECORATE, so I (his wife, Claire) have requested a modest budget for tables, chairs, and other furniture items for storage.
As with most businesses, we see that debt consolidation is essential. We currently have two loans totaling $50,000. We are grateful to have had these loans as they made our dream a reality––however, we feel that the money used to pay back these loans would be best applied to pay back our investors, YOU.
Finally, as with most emerging brands, a sales force is essential. The growth of our brand has increased exponentially over the past 3 years with a 49% increase between 2019 and 2020, and this was based on a grassroots sales campaign alone. Traxler Littlejohn, our president and owner, has been working in every capacity and role within Nippitaty since its inception. Not only was Traxler able to hit the market selling once or twice a week, but he was also able to craft and produce the products in the rest of his time.
Knowing the growth wave seen with Traxler's efforts alone, imagine what a full-time Brand Ambassador with Traxler in the field would do. The growth could be explosive! Monies raised would dedicate a salary and marketing materials to our first Brand Ambassador, spreading bottle distribution and Nippitaty into more and more states across the country.
The buildout of our new location is a 60-day project from start-to-finish.
We started Nippitaty Distillery in 2017, with our first bottle sold in February 2018. We set out on a mission to create a gin that both the gin skeptic and gin connoisseur would appreciate. We began with a small 105 gallon still, hard work, and a big dream. All of our products are hand-crafted, small-batch, and hand-labeled, with each batch averaging about 480 bottles. Currently, we produce – on average – 150 cases of liquor a month, and we can easily produce 800 cases so there is no concern about meeting increased demand.
In 2020 we introduced our flavored vodka, Botanica, and in the fall of 2020, we added our first seasonal gin, Everything Nice. These two products have seen amazing growth considering they were both launched during the pandemic. The addition of these products allowed us to grow by 49% in sales to our distributor, and it increased our tasting room bottle sales by 89%.
Finally, we are happy to say that we were the first distillery in the low country to respond to the pandemic by making and donating sanitizer. We first donated 45 gallons to the largest hospital in the state in March 2020, and have since donated 1100 gallons to local universities and to the city of North Charleston.

Our vision is to provide our current and future customers a little local hotspot to sit back and enjoy hand-crafted spirits and cocktails. With the potential increase in revenue these changes could afford, we could finally develop our sales team and accrue funds for additional state licenses, spreading bottle distribution and Nippitaty into more and more states across the country. We will continue to create and launch new lines of product consistently, our next being an organic whiskey to hit the market in the next few years.

About the Owner
Traxler Littlejohn is a father of a 4-year-old boy, a 1-year-old girl, a 10 week-old German Shepherd. He is also the husband of an amazing wife who wrote this whole campaign. Lastly, he worked in HR for 13 years and finally found his passion: making craft spirits.
He has always been inspired by his heritage. Heritage is something that is handed down as a tradition, and in his family that tradition is food. Generations of talented home cooks influenced him since he was a two-year-old boy propped up on his Nana’s kitchen counter as she faithfully prepared their meals. As far back as he can remember, he has been fascinated by the techniques, recipes, craft, and creativity of the culinary arts, working his way through high school and college in a variety of different restaurants.
During his 13 years in corporate Human Resources, he maintained his passion through hobbies and side gigs, smoking BBQ and brewing beer with buddies on the weekends. With the encouragement and support of family and friends, he finally decided to take the leap into entrepreneurship and owning his own company, putting his talents to good use and further engraining myself into the Charleston community he loves. There was never a question of what area he would venture into. As a boy, he dreamed of having his own moonshine still, hidden in the backwoods of some rural piece of property. His grown-up “man self,” now with a family and responsibilities, chose to take the legal route, and just maybe, make a living doing something that worked his body, roused my mind, and finally, fueled his passion deep within.

Traxler Littlejohn Enterprises, LLC pays as agreed. You will receive quarterly payments directly into your bank account. In the event of a default, you will be contacted by the administrative agent to manage the collections process on the investors' behalf. Your ongoing responsibilities from investing are very limited. Over the life of the loan, you will receive a yearly 1099-INT, which is a simple tax document similar to what you receive for most savings accounts.*Individual payments may vary slightly based on rounding. Potential repayments include principal and interest; they do not include the one-time fee which is assessed when you make your investment. These amounts are calculated as a hybrid interest-only + amortizing loan, which means that there is a specified interest-only period followed by an amortization period. How Honeycomb is Compensated
Honeycomb charges Traxler Littlejohn Enterprises, LLC a $250 posting fee and a 6.0%-8.0% loan origination fee based on the total amount funded.
Additionally, to cover expenses associated with each investment, Honeycomb charges a 2.85% investment fee capped at $37.25 per investor.
