Overview

Here at Reverend Motors, we are the classic “underdog” story in a fight against “big oil”. No corporate backing, no big boardrooms or fancy jets for us. We are 2 brothers and a buddy bootstrapping our passion to bring everything horsepower back to the American home, garage tinkerer, and mechanic. Like beer, we are crafting performance lubricants and goods right here in the good ole’ US of A to be sold throughout the world.

Our dream, our goal, our mission is to support and provide your local professional, weekend warrior, and fun-goer in whatever it is that makes their machine run at peak performance. From repairing, racing, or just having fun riding our motorcycles, we have grown our little brand into a trusted company with a shared interest in making memories and experiences through motors and a throttle. The future of motorsports is bright and we are the company that encompasses this tight-knit family of thrill-seekers.

We are raising $100,000 at a 12.0% interest rate, paid over a 60-month term!

"QUALITY AMERICAN LUBRICANTS"

The Project

As “big oil” remains the same, we see growth and opportunity knocking. We pride ourselves on taking an old competitive commodity and adapting it to real-time data from our customers to create a better and more innovative product for emerging motor applications. Since our company was founded, a high percentage of our sales have been through our multiple channels of eCommerce. Access to funding will help us grow exponentially in three key areas: brand awareness, product cost savings, and production. With your investment, we can help more privateers and motorheads fuel their passions and dreams. If you’re reading this and decide to embark with us, we just want to say thank you. Thank you for believing in what we’re doing, for being a part of it, and allowing this dream to grow; you are the reason we keep going when so many others say to stop.

Garage essentials for your steed!

History

Our story begins on Christmas day 1999 when Kolton, I and our two brothers got our first motorcycles after begging and pleading with our parents to get into the sport of motocross. On that day we were hooked, pursuing any chance we could to load up the truck and head out to our local track and desert. Once Kolton and I got to driving age, our passion for motocross and motorcycles grew even larger by competing in local races and attending any professional race we could get tickets for. As our racing increased so did our cost and the lack of support we found from the very companies that are trusted within the moto community. We saw a disconnect between the companies in our beloved moto community and the riders/racers that use their products.

Bruce Brown's 1971 film “On Any Sunday” further accredited our theory of this great disconnect between the riders/racers and the companies that provide the community with products and goods today. Bruce’s film portrays the fun and exploration of what it means to be a rider and the machines they piloted, a kind of “run what you brung” type of mentality. A very stark contrast from the flashy marketing and big professional contracts of today. So, we set out to be a company for the people; the riders, racers, and weekend warriors who are the pulse of the sport and every motorsport community alike. All made here in Southern California, where we were born and raised like so many who have come before us in these tight, thrill-seeking communities.

A family of gearheads: Reverend Motors was born from the love of motocross shared by four brothers.

The Future

Our mission and goal is to put our community of enthusiasts first and foremost. We want to help our beloved community by lowering the costs of maintenance products and bring more value by offering a member-based platform where customers and enthusiasts can get cheaper goods, highly informative videos, support the environment with limiting plastic bottle usage, and discounts to partnering tracks and affiliates for a fraction of the cost. With tried and true American-made products, community events, and instructional-related content tailored to the weekend warrior, we plan to play off our strengths and return the passion for motors back to the American garage. Our start into the 278 billion dollar motorcycle market, more specifically the motocross sector, is truly just the tip of the iceberg for us. Many of the same folks within the motorcycle community own boats, classic or performance cars, or simply enjoy having their lawn equipment running at tip-top shape.

With our knowledge of these industries coupled with our strategic marketing endeavors to each of these man motor segments, we can together not only drive sales and profit but encourage others to pursue a passion with the vast motorsport or boating scene. Though our goal is to create something bigger than ourselves, our growth will be facilitated by various applications all the way from motor oil, to car wax and cleaning products. We are in it for the long haul, taking each sector of this vast motorsport community segment by segment with your support.

GODSPEED: Trail-proven, American-made, vibes confirmed!

About the Owners

Kolton Freck

Kolton drinks a cup of oil every morning, just to start his day. He enjoys the finer things in life like long walks on the beach, John Wick movies, and a good guitar solo. On a more serious note, his passion has always been motorcycles and music. He grew up with three brothers, a father, and uncles who loved two wheels and all things motors. Kolton loves his German Shepherd, camping, old 70's rock, and of course motorcycles. He's an old soul. After graduating High School and hopes of going to college for business, he quickly found himself wanting to join the workforce and get his hands dirty. (That was not easy on mom.) He has 6+ years of experience in startups, marketing, and a sales-oriented mind. Turning that passion for motorcycles into a business has always been his dream.

Kory Freck

Hi I am Kory I am an electrician by day and an entrepreneur by night. I enjoy the finer things in life like being on my motorcycle 5th gear pinned deep down a desert road. I’ve raced motorcycles most of my life and I am a nervous mechanic that really loves to improve machines and the components that make them work. If I could sum myself up I’m a gearhead. I am the oldest of four brothers and a loving husband with a daughter on the way. There is nothing more than I’d rather do than ride my motorcycle and build this brand I started with my brother Kolton and our good buddy Daniel. I am an extremely hard worker and can’t wait for the day where I live my dream full time.

Daniel Hill

Daniel Hill, A.K.A. The Art Dude, is 34 years old and was born and raised in Orange County, California. He attended and graduated college from Kansas Wesleyan University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Arts. Daniel has 8+ years of experience in the industry, working jobs in e-commerce, sales, marketing, and design. He has worked with companies such as FMF, Metal Mulisha, WLF Enduro, and Camburg. When Daniel is not working, he enjoys hanging with his beautiful wife and two precious daughters. Hobbies that he enjoys include soccer, running, cycling, and swimming.

Over the life of the loan, you will receive a yearly 1099-INT, which is a simple tax document similar to what you receive for most savings accounts. *Individual payments may vary slightly based on rounding.
